The electrical engineering intern will work within our hardware engineering team to advance our proprietary line of biomedical devices. The EE intern will gain exposure to the product development and inner processes of a startup company while working on-site at our manufacturing location in Fremont, California.

Roles & Responsibilities
Tasks may involve but are not limited to:
- Proposing and implementing product improvements;
- Proposing and supporting the development of automated test and manufacturing fixtures; and
- Proposing and implementing production line modifications to improve throughput, reduce fallout, and improve efficiency.
The intern will also be responsible for:
- Interfacing directly with our operations, R&D and commercial teams
- Helping to run our suite of 3D printers
- Presenting their work in recurring meetings and at the end of their internship
Skills/Experience
- Prior product development experience or prior related electrical engineering internship/work experience preferred, especially experience in automation, controls, software, and manufacturing.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, communication and organizational skills required
- Overall proficiency with sensors, motors, and microcontroller-based development boards and a cursory understanding of C++ required
- Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic startup environment
Education Requirements
Current student in EE or related discipline (CE, CS, etc.)
Must have finished Junior year; senior or graduate student preferred
